I like working with heal oriented companies because they are looking at the big picture. This site included a broad spectrum of small business startup consultation and advice. Advanced plugins were used to leverage online solutions in eCommerce and eMarketing. Remember that websites ‘are’ your business, which is very different than the old thinking where they only enhance it in some way. This is a common misunderstanding that I help you move beyond.

Professional sites are always fun for me, because I like helping the small business person. My client Robert Erben wanted an upgrade from his old site, which was not bringing him any new business. For this new site, I worked with a branding agent who is promoting Robert in both web and other traditional forms of advertising. We had to work together to be his image was consistant. Additionally, I made sure to target his audience, by doing heavy keyword research for his market and writing content for his pages to bring him local clients in the Boulder, CO area.

This site is one we are working on right now. When complete, it will cover all states with localized page rankings and automation for selling online legal forms and services.

Angela is very talented and deserves a high quality fashionable site like this one to show her best side. This site dealt with many imagery and video issues in order to establish a clean and bit of ‘Hollywood’ look and feel. It is also well SEO optimized so talent agents can find Angela.

Here’s an example of a business offspring that started from an existing one. My client Rich is in the laundromat business and saw the opportunity to sell ads on his dryer doors. Very unusual, as he is breaking into a brand new advertising market space. I have done way more than just make him a cool website. I have also helped him as an advisor along the way, making suggestions to help tune his new business into a lean machine.

These bowls are amazing and I find an attraction to working with artists to help them with business aspects of their work. Ryan’s bowl site has been on the rise in search engines for some time now. It’s cool to watch because, after long efforts tweaking the site, people are beginning to come in and buy his bowls. This site is a good example of incorporating the many nuances that most small business folks don’t think about. That’s where I come in.

Advanced Blog with Controlled Interaction

This site project had a lot of nuances to it. First our client Ralph wanted a site that allowed for highly managed interaction with those that come to his site. Initially we suggested that we create a social community for him so that others would be highly visible and represented in their own right. However, as we learned more, it became clear that most people who would come to the site would want to make comments or ask questions, but would want to stay anonymous. Thus, we created a very sophisticated and elegant blog for him that emphasizes educational postings and will have semi-regular polls or surveys that will be taken as the blog site builds attention and activity.

This was a fun design project for us. It involved a river restoration firm and scientist named Mitch who needed to become visible to his existing and potential clients. After learning about his business, we put together a cool set of pages that really gets to the essence of his work. Since Mitch will be writing a lot of scientific articles and wants to use them to educate, his site also includes a blog that is integrated with widgets that help him automate notification to dozens of major social networks, which will get his articles spread to many on a regular basis. Mitch also developed educational videos with us which can be seen at this site. He will be using them to educate river renovation advocates and scientists alike.

On this site, we created an elaborate interactive social community, where people have their own web page to describe themselves and have the freedom to write blog articles for all to see, create and join discussion groups, and post YouTube videos. Since this site emphases sharing of work and clients, a number of widgets were added to help their community create high levels of interaction and communication. We offer a number of unique community platforms to choose from for the foundation of your community site. In this particular case, the site was developed using the ‘Ning’ platform. For other clients, we use BuddyPress to build a very robust and customizable social community site that is based on your specific needs.

Landing Page For Product Sales

This site demonstrates where marketing and sales is heading on the web. These kinds of pages are very different than traditional websites and are used when getting an online sale, which should be your most important priority. Usually these pages are long, clean, and informational based with easy ways for customers to ‘buy now’. Additionally, there are many supporting solutions with pages like these that help you to build a data base of interested clients that you can then use to go back to over and over again.

This site also demonstrates where marketing and sales is heading on the web. They are very different than traditional websites and are used when getting an online sale is the most important priority. Often, there are many supporting solutions that support this page, including newsletters, automated blogging content, and affiliate product programs. Each used to help build traffic to your site, leveraged sales solutions, and growing a data base of interested clients to go back to over and over again for secondary sales.

This site is a nice example of a simple online business that has an physical product to sell. So the design of this site included a simple ecommerce system that allows customers to review the product visually and contextually, and then be able to order the product online. Many of our clients are small businesses like this one who need to have low startup costs and want to leverage the internet to reduce the overhead that comes with a ‘brick and mortar’ business. Additionally, our client is now able to show their product to a very targeted market using online intelligent search engine optimization and internet marketing techniques that reach a large specialized audience. They are also able to create simple automation processes for clients to easily order their products and be able to share their product interest with their friends without lifting a finger (called viral marketing). All done at a dramatically lower cost than traditional marketing and advertising methods.

This site was fully customized to my clients special requests. It works with an adjacent webite where advertisers get a value-added bonus of being able to create and post their own coupons here. There’s a lot of behind the scenes design on this project that the eye does not see in order to make the coupons be postable, viewable, mappable, and presentable. This site has a next phase planned for it to improve its user interface and coupon useability. This also demonstrates how I work with my clients: A key part is working with clients and their budgets so they can get started now and then evolve once their budget and other criteria are reached.
